Galactic SwarmWeek in Space 262 - Picture of a giant cluster of galaxies more than 2 billion light years away  Located some 2.2 billion light years from Earth in the constellation Virgo, a massive cluster of galaxies known as Abell 1689, resembles a swarm of bees in this image snapped by the Hubble Space Telescope.

Hubble stared at one small patch of sky for over 34 hours to capture the hundreds of galaxies seen in this image that make up the distant cluster.
